The Bio Arabica co-op is a fairly young group, having been established in 2017. It’s also unique in that the average age of the 45 producers in the co-op is 30 years old. 85% of the members work in coffee production, while the other 15% produce other crops for consumption, such as citrus and banana. Due to the size of the farms, and storage capacities, their coffees are traded in micro-lots.

The co-op’s mission statement : BIO ARÁBICA is a cooperative dedicated to the production and commercialization of organic coffee, with the purpose of improving the living conditions of the members, committed to caring for the environment.

Bolivia Caranavi is a really fun coffee. It’s incredibly sweet, smooth, with a mellow acidity, making it really enjoyable to sip. Look for big, dessert-like tasting notes, such as oatmeal raisin cookies, s’mores, and hazelnut in this stout coffee. While it cools, it gains an almost creamy mouthfeel.
